RATNER departed from this earthly life, but left behind them the true Jewish Spirit which was inherited by their children. Mr. and Mrs. Ratner served this Jewish Community in a humble way and contributed to it materially and morally. Of Mrs. Ratner it may be said that she was a true daughter of our faith, because of her deep knowledge of the Torah and its interpretation, the observance of its command and the Hebrew language.
